RAMP: the name we gave our data platform - Red River Algorithmic Management Platform

RAMP gathers more than 400 publicly available data points on more than 25k EU startups and allows us not only to spot some of the most promising startups easily but also to analyze them in a much more efficient way by gathering insights in a single multi-layered Dashboard.

The platform is at the heart of our Data-Driven VC strategy.

• Momentum score (normalised to account for the estimated size of the startup): Quantifies the growth dynamics of a company (sales & product development, web and social visits traction, team growth...)

(Momentum is -10-10)

• ESG score: Quantifies to what extend the company puts ESG matters at the core of its operations or flag potential issues

(ESG is -10 to +10)

• US acceleration potential: compares the US dynamics to the US ground presence of a startup, if the US dynamics is great with a low US ground presence, it means the potential to accelerate is high
• Growth trend: measures the evolution of the growth momentum over the last 6 month (up, flat or down)

We focus exclusively on EU startups (per our thesis, UK not included), that raised >2M€ and <100M€ and have a high level of confidence.
